The technique is to be picky interms of expensive looking restaurants. You can do Paris dining around the less populated areas where less people visit. These restaurants are often geared and prepared for tourists. It does make a difference in the staff’s service and actions whether they expect you to return or not. Often times the advertised fixed price menus for tourists are a fine deal. This cost about €10-15. If you’re really in to high-quality and more genuine stuff in Paris dining, try one of the small bistros where French go during lunch time (considering that you already learned some words of French).

  1. I love this post! I’m actually planning to visit Paris next month, and I don’t know anyone there. So I’m beginning to do some research about excursion trips to dining experience. What I always look forward to in my trips in different cities and countries are the unique dining experience. But usually, they come with pretty expensive prices. So your tips on where to find cheap but delectable cuisines are a major help! Also, your tips about staying away from those “English speaking” restos is super! Now I know better, so hopefully I can fully enjoy the French cuisine once I get there next month. Thanks again for the great tips!

  2. If you are looking to enjoy a great dining experience in Paris but you’re a vegan, then you should definitely visit Le Marais in Paris. It is considered to be the best resto in Paris when it comes to serving vegetarian dishes. This was formerly known as Aquarius, but now it is like the major dining spot for the vegetarian community in Paris. They serve everything from salads, to pancakes, and a couple of fish dishes. They also serve organic wine, the good stuff. And you’ll probably be glad to know that it is one of the few restos in Paris which follows the no smoking law. So, you get to dine healthy foods and at the same time enjoy a “healthy” environment as well. Hope this helps for the vegans who plan to visit Paris!

  3. It is also significant to take the venue into consideration. Dining in Paris should be as perfect as it could, especially for tourists and visitors of the city. Finding the perfect dining experience not only means finding the perfect cuisine but also the place. On the other hand, it is important to not act like a tourist/visitor of the city. You may be one, but as much as possible, don’t act as one.

  4. I agree with you veganbeauty. The dishes in Le Marais are so delicious that even meat lovers can’t deny. They also offer you a peace and calm ambiance perfect to dine in an environmental setting. The design of the place supplements you to a superb dining experience. Plus, they also give items for free to selected customers.
