Never before Nightlife in Paris

Unforgettable Nightlife in Paris
Party all night and sleep all day in Paris.

The nightlife in Paris really does have something for everyone. From bars which serve drinks in babies bottle, to especially extraordinary clubs that oblige some name dropping or card (black Amex) showing, to clubs where you can dance as if there’s no tomorrow. To start your nightlife in Paris, grab a drink or two or even three in a omnipresent dive bar, before burning up the dance floor and spending some money at one of the trendy clubs. You can always party all night, and sleep all day at Paris.

There are several nightlife spots that are suitable for any budget you have.

There are several drinking bars and elegant cafes that are found in the 10th. The Marais swanks a large number of stylish new bars that are mostly located in the 4th extending to the 3rd arrondissement. These bars and restaurants in the Marais have a majority gay crowd but are also perfectly friendly to straights as well, of course.  Bastille is considered a very active nightlife zone in Paris, located just to the northeast of Place de Bastille in the 11th. Majority of the bars around the Bastille have North, Central or South American theme, with a couple of Aussie placed diverse in for good measure. Quartier Latin – Odeon is suitable if you’re looking for the old style and intellectual student atmosphere of Paris in the 60’s and 70’s. Rou Mouffetard and environs has a little bit of everything for nightlife in Paris. It is located at the 5th on the south side of the hill by the Pantheon. Bagnolet offers a cluster of bar, restaurants and nightclubs and is the best place in Paris for nightly local and touring punk rock.

There are a lot of other interesting places suitable for nightlife in Paris, which includes the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz which are not to be missed in a remarkable experience of Parisian drinking. Some nightclubs in the city makes your nightlife in Paris worth it, including the Folies Pigalle (18th), Rex Club, Palais Royal, Maison Blanche, le Baron and many more. The same as the usual dress code we encountered in our own places, going out to dress to impress in Paris should be taken into consideration. Torn clothing and sneakers are not accepted. The better you look with your outfit, the better chance of passing the bouncers of any clubs. Try to make an equal male to female ratio for you to have an easy time entering night clubs.

  1. Personally, my favorite nightlife activity in Paris is simply watching all the lights. Most edifices in Paris can be more appreciated once night sets in and they are lighted with bulbs of different colors. I can spend the whole night just sitting on top of a high building and soaking in the beauty of Paris. Though the club scene is still a good choice to mingle once in a while, I still say nothing beats taking a stroll out at night. I mean, Paris is not called the “City of Lights” for nothing.

  2. I am more interested to know about the Moulin Rouge. Is this like a real place or something that the movies have just made? I saw the movie Moulin Rouge and I think it would really be fun to see shows like this in person. I think this would be a favorite idea of a nightlife in Paris!

  3. @Ben: Yes! Moulin Rouge is a real place and probably one of the most popular places that Paris is known for. It is more known for its world class cabaret shows that showcases over 1000 extravagant costumes by over 60 professional female dancers. I have personally been in Moulin Rouge like two times already and I have not yet been disappointed. The sexiness of the numbers are not at all offensive in fact it makes you wanna join the elite group of performers at Moulin Rouge! One of the best nightlife experience in Paris!

  4. Just a friendly reminder to those who go out and do the best of nightlife in Paris. The legal drinking age in the city is at 16. But there are exemptions, children below 16 can be served in the bars and restaurants only if they are guided and accompanied by their family or legal guardians. The city cafes are open up to the extent where there are still customers, some cafes have strict curfews, and others are open for 24 hours. As most of other places observe, it is an offense when you are driving when you are drunk. If you are caught, you are subjected to a fine or maybe imprisonment.

  5. Thanks for sharing this video, I wish I had seen it berfoe going to Paris, we have been lucky to go there but it seems that I missed few places Visiting the Tour Eiffel was great, I was there when they put blue lights on it, amazing!
