The Louvre would be in the top of the list. Not only because of the historical background it undergone in the past but also its modern features that makes it unique from the other museums. This museum is not like any other museum in the world, for the main fact that it is home to some of the best artworks of all times. Unforgettable masterpieces from around the globe can probably be seen here. The Louvre is open all days of the week except Tuesdays and special French Holidays. The doors of the museum opens at around 9 am and closes at 6 pm. But during Wednesdays and Fridays, they extend their hours to 10 pm. Entrance to the museum will cost you anywhere from 6 to 14 Euros.

It may sound sad, but I have never really been that interested in museums. So when I saw that the Louvre was actually the place where they keep priceless works of art, I was all the more interested to visit it in person. Ever since seeing that movie, I have had an obsession about visiting this place. So last year, I finally had the chance to visit Paris and this was on top of my list of the must-visits. I enjoyed the tour being led by lecturers of the Louvre. They were so helpful and they actually make you a lover of art after the 90 minutes tour around the Louvre.
